The International Energy Agency has released an annual report showing that total global investment in clean energy is expected to reach $2 trillion by 2024, twice that of fossil energy investment.
Among them, the total investment in photovoltaic crossed the threshold of 500 billion US dollars, reaching the highest level in history. China continues to lead the world in clean energy, with total investment expected to reach $675 billion this year, dominating the photovoltaic, lithium and electric vehicle sectors, followed by Europe with $370 billion in clean energy investment, slightly more than the United States at $315 billion, the report said.
