Photovoltaic power generation is one of the important development industries in the development of carbon neutrality in China, and now photovoltaic roofs can be seen everywhere, but because the photovoltaic power generation industry is not understood by the people, many people feel that photovoltaic on the roof has radiation, which is harmful to the human body. But is it really the case?
一, Photovoltaic power generation principle
Solar energy system power generation is to convert sunlight directly into direct current through the solar module, and then convert direct current into alternating current used by everyone through the inverter. There is no chemical change and nuclear reaction in the conversion process, so there is no high-frequency radiation in solar power generation, which the radiation generated by the converter is the same as that generated by general household appliances, and the magnetic field generated by it is probably similar to that of the computer.

二,Electromagnetic wave type
Electromagnetic wave, also known as electromagnetic radiation, is a mode of energy transfer generated by the interaction of electric and magnetic fields, which can be divided into: ionizing radiation and non-ionizing radiation according to the different energy.
Ionizing radiation is radiation with enough energy to cause atoms or molecules to lose electrons and become positively charged particles. Such as X-rays, gamma rays, etc.
Non-ionizing radiation is radiation that does not have enough energy to vibrate or rotate atoms or molecules without changing their structure or properties. Such as radio waves, infrared, visible light and so on.
The type of electromagnetic wave generated by solar panels belongs to non-free radiation, and the electromagnetic wave intensity generated by solar panels is much lower than that of general household appliances or communication equipment, so solar panels do not have enough energy to change the structure and function of human cells or tissues.
The intensity of the electromagnetic waves produced by solar panels is very low, well below the public exposure limits set by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP). Therefore, solar panels do not cause health problems such as cancer, genetic mutations, reproductive disorders, etc.
Now the main use of solar energy is for power generation, to minimize the cost of power generation, solar panels can be installed on the roof of the building for home and commercial use of power generation, can also be installed in solar power stations for large-scale grid power supply. In addition, solar panels can also be used for mobile power, such as ships, RV and other occasions that require independent power generation, to provide users with convenient and reliable power supply.
